Job Description We're seeking a dedicated Benefits Specialist to help shape the future of the HR outsourcing industry.
In this role, you'll enroll new employees in benefit plans within our client's HRIS, provide comprehensive benefits orientations, and ensure accurate deductions are relayed to payroll.
You'll also manage status changes, review claims, and facilitate open enrollment transfers, all while making a meaningful impact.

Chart Your Course in the HR Solutions Universe Employment type: Full-time Shift: Monday to Friday; may start from 7:30 AM-9AM CST to 4:30 PM-6:00 PM (Semi-flexible Work Setup: Remote/Work from Home Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept: Shape the Future of HR Enrolls new employees in benefit plans in HRIS and provides benefits orientation.
Provides employee benefit deductions information to payroll.
Processes status changes and reviews claims.
Processes open enrollment benefit plan transfers.
Maintains vendor contact to investigate discrepancies and provides information in non-routine situations.
Provides carriers appropriate documentation for life, pension, and disability benefits claims.
Assists in preparing materials and in presenting benefit plan changes to employees.
Responds to employee inquiries regarding coverage and addresses these issues with carriers.
Responds to employee issues in compliance with HIPAA, Section 125 and State laws.
Responds to notifications from state agency regarding court ordered medical.
Issues annual individual summary of benefits to employees.
Maintains employee benefit files and other record keeping.

Tech Stack Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel required (including VLOOKUP and other functions).
Plus Experience or knowledge of Prism.
Familiarity with Client Space.
Experience in case management.
Life and Health certification.
Additional Information Client-facing position for more tenured candidates; back-office tasks are suited for more junior roles.
A minimum of three years of related benefits administration experience and/or training is required.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels.
Experience with an HRIS system is essential.
