Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures related to warranty management for BYD's operations in Colombia. Provide high technical capacity answers to final customers to avoid new claims for the same concept. Consolidate the values claimed to the factory and the value recognized by China, ensuring that the claimed vs. paid values are the same. Register, control, supervise, and review the registrations, expirations, and releases of registered warranties. Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of all warranty-related activities. Analyze warranty data to identify trends, patterns, and recurring issues that may impact product quality or customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain detailed reports on warranty claim status, costs, and recovery from suppliers. Gather information on generalized failures in specific typologies and/or operations to generate and issue quality reports to the factory. Review, approve, and/or reject warranty reports in the factory platform. Follow up on guarantees pending formalization. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warranty management processes. Maintain the claims database by yard and the value claimed for each claim. Communicate with customers to clarify technical and contractual issues related to warranty claims. Agree with the Chinese engineering team on technical criteria regarding warranty claims. Hold meetings with the coordinators to provide feedback on the indicators of each operation. Generate the indicators of the area according to the guidelines of the after-sales management. Attend department trainings to ensure the correct performance of the area. Provide training to the operations teams on the warranty process and the technical criteria for acceptance or rejection. Perform other duties of the position as designated by immediate supervisor.
