Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a strong Project Analyst to join our Global Shared Services Program Management Office (PMO). In this role, you will partner with various members of the organization, as well as business unit and functional partners, to provide project management support on transformational projects. As the Project Analyst, you will work closely with Project Managers and the PMO Director, giving you visibility to the many projects being executed across the organization, and will provide support in a number of different areas, including (but not limited to) project tracking, reporting and communication, and business case analysis. Specific Responsibilities: Assist in building out the Continuous Improvement Framework and Governance Model. Work closely with the Project Management team to successfully execute projects across all workstreams, responsibilities to include capturing meeting minutes and take-aways, coordinating with Project Managers to appropriately document, communicate and follow up on actions, and tracking project progress at a high level. Track and generate materials to communicate the overall health of the Continuous Improvement program. Track and monitor project financials against approved business cases. Work with Project Manager and Project Owner to true-up actuals and analyze performance, where applicable. Attend project working sessions and participate as needed. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: ~3 years in a large multi-national company (preferably diversified US / public company). Demonstrated experience in a global, mid to large size corporation. Demonstrated interest in Project Management and/or Lean Six Sigma (Certification a plus). Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, engineering or a closely related field. Analytical Skills: Be able to quickly get to the key messages & lead the path for action. Effectively manage multiple deliverables and priorities & meet deadlines. Ability to be a team player, working cross-functionally with business partners and providing support where needed.
