Job Description: As the Logistics & Supply Chain Management Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire supply chain, guaranteeing that products reach customers in a timely and cost-effective manner. Manage demand appropriately to reduce operational delivery times and positively impact the company's profitability. Provide direct advice to commercial teams and distributors on demand planning and inventory optimization. Optimize inventory efficiently and economically, enhancing the level of service for both internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Oversee Supply Chain Activities: Coordinate and supervise all supply chain activities, from product acquisition to delivery to distributors, ensuring seamless operations. Align Demand Forecasts with Sales Goals: Ensure demand forecasts and product planning are perfectly aligned with the company's sales objectives (S&OP). Optimize Transportation and Delivery: Guarantee timely and optimal dispatches to the distribution network and/or end users, ensuring products are delivered on time and in excellent condition. Collaborate with Commercial and Customer Service Teams: Work closely with commercial and customer service departments to align supply chain operations with SKF's strategic goals. Provide Expert Advice: Advise commercial teams and distributors directly on demand planning and inventory optimization, driving efficiency and effectiveness. Implement Process Improvements: Identify and implement supply chain process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs. Control and Reduce Logistics Costs: Ensure effective control and reduction of logistics costs, contributing to the company's profitability. Maintain Optimal Inventory Levels: Keep inventory levels optimal, ensuring product availability aligns with the company's needs. Leverage Data and Analytics: Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and enhance supply chain performance. Ensure Compliance: Ensure all supply chain operations comply with applicable regulations and standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity. Qualifications: Experience: 7-10 years in demand planning, international trade, logistics, and customer service within complex industries featuring diverse product lines. Expertise: Proven track record in managing forwarders, couriers, customs agencies, 3PL operators, free zones, and external clients.
