We are seeking a purpose-driven investment research professional to contribute to our team in due diligence, database management, data analytics, and investment operations to support core strategic engagements with our donor advised fund provider, wealth advisor, family office, and foundation clients. Responsibilities Impact Investment Research and Due Diligence – Engage with companies and fund managers in public and private markets to collect information regarding investment opportunities, synthesize findings using CapShift's due diligence process, and present findings internally and externally to clients. CapShift due diligence focuses on Financial, Operational, and Impact pillars. Data Analytics – Leverage CapShift's unique Research Engine of over 1,000 private impact investment opportunities to help develop custom sourcing reports, fund analytics, and grow the team's impact management and reporting capabilities. Thematic Research – Support CapShift's development of thematic thought leadership by helping to prepare insightful materials on impact investing sectors, trends, and asset classes. Database Management – Support the robustness and quality of our impact investment database of investment opportunities across asset classes, sectors, and geographies. Impact Investment Monitoring and Reporting – Support the ongoing monitoring of investments within client impact investment portfolios. Gather information on the drivers of financial and impact performance, as well as material operational changes, and prepare regular updates for internal and external clients. Internal Strategy Development – Support the research team in formalizing CapShift's operations and analytics processes and procedures, setting the foundation and capacity for future growth. Other Initiatives – There will also be the opportunity to take on (or create) other projects that help drive the team's success, including client-specific projects. Qualifications 0-3 years of relevant experience working with data and research to drive strategy Knowledge of financial concepts and tools – coursework in accounting, corporate finance, financial markets, business management, etc. Exceptional Excel and analytical skills and attention to detail Strong alignment with CapShift's role in mobilizing capital for purpose with a focus on private wealth, charitable institutions, and private investment funds.
