A Head of Art A Head of Art is a creative professional responsible for directing and guiding the visual aspects of different projects. They work on various aspects of advertising, acting as an art curator of visual identity, content, social media and multimedia design, to ensure that campaigns and digital projects are visually compelling and fit the brand aesthetic. Responsibilities Creates concepts and visual elements that have a positive impact on consumers. Involved in all forms of brand communication, from traditional to digital advertising, giving the go-ahead to all communication inputs for our brands. Work with ECD supervision and as part of a team. Starts with a good understanding of the brief and then conceptualizes, generates ideas and visual concepts. Presents ideas internally as well as to clients. Ensures a high standard of visual execution across all media. Has the resilience to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality ideas and executions to tight deadlines. Ability to own a project from briefing to presentation. Proactively comes up with new ideas when identifying opportunities. Ability to work with and nurture junior teams, check their work and give feedback when necessary. Ability to manage multiple projects. Capability to present to the client. How Will We Know You Are The One Eight or more years of experience. Expertise in Photoshop and Illustrator. Premier Pro, After Effects or other video tool is a plus. Experience in developing ideas and layouts, from idea to implementation. Deep understanding of advertising, design and brand activation disciplines. A good awareness of digital and evolving online, mobile and social platforms. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate across multiple disciplines. Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas, solutions and visual language to team members, stakeholders and clients.
