Job Description
As the Director of People Strategy for LATAM, you will assume a pivotal strategic role, spearheading the overarching HR strategy, policies, and initiatives across our entire organization. Your role will entail close collaboration with executive leadership and industry stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment between HR endeavors and business goals, cultivating a culture marked by engagement, innovation, and inclusiveness. With PEOPLE as our cornerstone, your primary focus will be to formulate and execute a holistic HR strategy that not only facilitates organizational expansion, but also nurtures talent progression and elevates employee engagement to new heights,
including our two business units in LATAM the nearshoring services, and Local services.
Your Impact:
•Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that supports the organization's growth, fosters talent development, and enhances employee engagement.
•Lead a team of HR People Strategy professionals in LATAM, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture within the department.
•Partner closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders to align HR initiatives with business goals, providing insights and recommendations to enhance organizational effectiveness.
•Partner and collaborate with Publicis Sapient global people strategy teams to design and activate local people solutions
•Drive initiatives related to employee development, performance management, and succession planning to enhance individual and team capabilities.
•Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, fostering a workplace culture that values and celebrates differences.
•Ensure HR policies and practices follow relevant labor laws and regulations, managing any potential risks.
•Drive change management efforts to support organizational transformation and growth.
•Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually evolve HR strategies.
•Serve as a member of the LATAM leadership team and provide strategic business partner support and coaching to executive leaders
•Partnering with LATAM vertical markets, Delivery Teams, stakeholders, senior leadership, other various teams to ensure we are supporting and coaching our People Managers to engage their teams, drive retention and focus on overall teams' happiness.
•Train and counsel management in People processes such as promotions, compensation management, growth conversations, talent reviews, etc.
Qualifications
Your Skills & Experience:
•Fluent in Spanish and English. Portugeous language skills preferred.
•Demonstrated expertise in overseeing HR operations within Latin America, coupled with active engagement in global HR collaboration across diverse geographical regions. Experience working with Argentina.
•Demonstrated experience delivering programs, such as competency model development, evaluation methodology and coaching, bonus planning, promotion rounds, Impact Awards, etc., while balancing local and global people-related initiatives.
•Experience with post-acquisition integrations from both a strategic and tactical perspective
•Prior success operating in a global, highly-matrixed organization
•Expertise in working with strategy teams in a global capacity to design and manage program implementation and execution as appropriate.
•Proven track record of creating and implementing regional talent strategies to meet ever-changing business needs in a Strategy Consulting environment.
•Ability to manage sometimes-conflicting priorities of various leadership teams and initiatives while producing exceptional results that drive our business forward.
•Comfortable within an agile methodology, partnering with leadership in People Strategy to pilot new ways of working that are globally scalable.
•A demonstrated understanding of personalities and behavioral styles to work collaboratively with a variety of people and to make informed decisions regarding organizational design and effective relationship management.
•Commercial acumen: Has a good overall understanding of company finances and uses this information to challenge and provide creative solutions in resource and succession planning.
•Strong business orientation and demonstrated success at driving business results through people-based solutions.
