We manage the Amadeus Business Travel program worldwide, enabling travel to all our employees by deploying travel management and expense solutions, defining policies and processes, and providing round-the-clock support to travelers. We aim to balance the best traveler experience with cost-efficient traveling alternatives. As the next Regional Travel Manager for the AMERICAS, your role will involve the implementation of the Amadeus Global Travel Program towards all stakeholders: Implementation & maintenance of global travel guidelines and solutions Operational management of local/regional travel providers Maintenance of effective and cost-efficient travel processes Performance of required duty of care responsibilities Understanding of local/regional corporate travel behaviors through reporting In this role you'll: Enable business travel continuity for all AMERICAS travelers Pilot new travel management solutions Interact with various travel industry stakeholders Be part of an international team based in different locations About the ideal candidate: University Degree in Tourism, Economics, Finance, or Business Administration. Certified Travel Manager is a plus 4 years' experience in Corporate Travel Departments or Business Travel Providers 4 years' experience as a travel agent in a global corporation Project Management Experience is a plus High experience in using databases Deep knowledge of the Travel Industry sector General knowledge of Amadeus fundamentals Understanding of Global Corporate Travel processes and procedures Knowledge of practices related to Amadeus products Management of travel payment methods Familiarity with airline distribution channels Must have: Strong working knowledge of GDSs and online booking tools Knowledge of professional software engineering practices Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Travel Risk Management and Tracking tools Implementation of travel platforms Database Management Analytical and presentation skills Strong communication and customer service skills Change management and ability to influence others Strong organization skills Curious, quick learner, and proactive High customer service focus Gen.
