The Role:The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of restaurants and be responsible for the full customer lifecycle.
From bringing the restaurants onto the OpenTable network to supporting them on how to use and get the most from being an OpenTable customer.
This role requires regular travel in the South America, Central America, and Caribbean regions, and it may require travel to Mexico, United States, and other countries.
A US Visa is required for this position.This is not a sales positionResponsibilities:Cultivate and build upon existing high-level relationships to serve as a trusted advisor to RestaurantsAssist restaurant management with configuration to optimize reservation flowComplete detailed report templates on the installation for Technical Support staff at OpenTableUnderstand customer needs and identify sales opportunities to upsell Marketing assets to restaurantsAchieve company goals and sales objectives set quarterlyPlace OpenTable reservation links on customer restaurant websitesTrack weekly meeting activity in SalesforceMonthly meetings with Elite membersAct as an advocate for restaurant customers and resolve cross-functional issuesAct as the high-level point of contact for restaurant customer concernsWork with the Marketing team to help design and execute restaurant specific marketing programs and drive participation in promotional programsCapture feedback from restaurants to suggest feature and functionality requirements for product upgradesEducate operators about trends in the industry and offer rare insightLead restaurant retention rate; aid in the re-signing of customers with expired contractsPlease apply if you have:Account management or equivalent experience in a restaurant/hospitality environment; validated customer service skillsA good listener, capable of understanding the restaurant's business objectivesDeep expertise in restaurant operations and management experience working in the restaurant marketAbility to work across many departments to take on problems and achieve resultsKeenly track economic and industry drivers and understand implications on the restaurant business, including identifying new business opportunitiesAbility to manage objections and comfortable with a consultative sales approachConfident in the delivery of training and speaking in front of groupsExcellent social and planning skills: task prioritization, effective time managementStrong writing, presentation and interpersonal skillsAnalytical and data driven approach for making and supporting business decisionsValid driving license and transportation (all business related travel expenses reimbursed)Appreciate working in an unstructured and forward-thinking environmentYou speak English fluently.Diversity, Equity, and InclusionOpenTable aspires to be a workplace that reflects the diverse communities we serve and a culture that is inclusive and welcoming.
