As a Ruby Architect, you'll shape the software architecture and future direction of our Ruby-based applications, utilizing your extensive experience in Ruby, system design, and web development. Your role focuses on creating scalable architectures, guiding technical strategies, and leading development teams to build robust, efficient web solutions that align with our strategic goals. What you will do: Architect and design comprehensive Ruby application solutions, incorporating best practices in scalability, performance, and security. Lead the assessment and adoption of advanced Ruby frameworks and tools, enhancing development capabilities. Define coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices for Ruby development across the organization. Provide strategic direction and technical leadership on complex Ruby projects, solving challenging technical problems. Mentor and guide development teams in advanced Ruby techniques and methodologies. Collaborate with senior management to align Ruby development strategies with business objectives and technology trends. Here's what we are looking for: 8+ years of experience with Ruby. Strong background in software architecture design. Strong understanding of system security. In-depth knowledge of memory management and performance optimization. Experience in designing and integrating distributed and scalable solutions, particularly in cloud environments. Skilled in relational and non-relational databases. Ability to choose between different architectures/technologies, understanding the pros and cons of each. Expert in managing CI/CD pipelines. Advanced level of English.
