Remote - Full Time We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full stack development of WordPress websites, focusing on both front-end and back-end functionalities. You will collaborate with our design, content, and development teams to create seamless and optimized websites that meet client requirements and provide an excellent user experience. Responsibilities: Develop and manage both front-end and back-end components of WordPress websites. Customize and style WordPress themes and templates according to project specifications. Implement responsive and visually appealing designs, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. Create and modify custom plugins and themes to extend website functionality. Optimize website performance for fast load times, efficient code, and mobile responsiveness. Conduct regular updates, backups, and maintenance to ensure website security and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including performance and server-side errors. Maintain and improve code quality, performance, and adherence to web standards. Requirements: Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development. Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles, as well as frameworks like Bootstrap. Knowledge of database optimization, security practices, and performance tuning. Proficiency in version control systems such as Git. Strong attention to detail with an eye for visual consistency and design aesthetics. Ability to troubleshoot both front-end and back-end issues independently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members across departments. Good to Have: Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React or Vue) for enhanced front-end functionality. Familiarity with WooCommerce or other eCommerce plugins for WordPress.
