At trades.org, we help trade professionals (general contractors, plumbers, electricians) start, run, and grow their small businesses. We're looking for a skilled Website Template Designer who wants to join our remote-first global team to help us create beautiful, customizable templates for our website builder tool.
- Create website template designs in Figma using components and variants
- Developing multiple design takes for each template to align with a wide variety of brand identities
- Ensuring that templates are responsive and optimized for different devices and screen sizes
- Creating clean and efficient layouts that allow for easy customization
- Working with our development team to ensure that templates are implemented accurately
**To be successful in this role, you should have**:
- fluency in English, Spanish, or both
- expertise in design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- experience designing website templates or similar products
- familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- an eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful, user-friendly designs
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TailwindCSS
- responsive design principles
- data visualization and dashboard design
- customizing existing design libraries to create new ideas
