Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level is required for this role. A day in the life: The day often begins with a collaborative team meeting to discuss project updates and align on priorities. The developer then dives into hands-on coding, implementing and testing UI elements for both desktop and responsive websites. Building upon reusable code and libraries is a continuous effort, fostering efficiency and scalability. Throughout the day, communication with team members is paramount, involving discussions on project progress, addressing challenges, and participating in code reviews. Periodic breaks may be interspersed with skill enhancement activities, staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in front-end development. Additionally, the day may include interactions with stakeholders to ensure that the developed frontend code aligns accurately with user and business requirements. Overall, the role demands a balance of technical prowess, effective collaboration, and a keen understanding of user experience principles. Responsibilities: Developing and testing UI for desktop and responsive websites. Build reusable code and libraries for future use. Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code. Role Requirements: Experienced JS(ES6), SCSS, HTML5 developer. Expert/Advanced experience in front-end technologies and user experience (React, NextJs, TypeScript). Advanced experience in collaborating with the creative team to ensure quality of work. Experienced in service integrations (Web Services, CMS / Commerce systems, 3rd party APIs, etc.). Shopify Experience is a big plus. Experienced with Figma and/or Zeplin. Experienced in upholding established development processes (e.g. code reviews, style guides, pattern libraries). Experienced and proficient in source control (gitlab/Github). Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Project Timeliness: This KPI focuses on the developer's ability to meet deadlines and deliver projects on time. Task Fulfillment: Task fulfillment refers to the completion of assigned responsibilities, including developing, testing, and delivering UI for desktop and responsive websites. Code Quality: Code quality is a crucial aspect of front-end development. Communication with the Team: Effective communication is vital in a collaborative work environment. User and Business Needs Alignment: This KPI gauges how well the developer understands and translates user and business requirements into functional front-end code.
