Job DescriptionAECOM seeks a Water and Sanitation Business Leader who will lead market expansion and support projects for Water Business Line clients in the Colombia and Perú markets. The selected candidate can be based out of our Bogotá or Lima offices with regular travel between countries expected.In this role, the selected candidate will work with our Colombia and Perú Country Manger and our LATAM Regional Business Line Leader and be responsible for the overall vision and growth strategy for our Water and Sanitation Business practice in Colombia and Peru. The selected candidate will also function as a mentor to staff, manage water business clients, and help support water infrastructure projects and programs that may include or require:Comprehensive water systems planning, design, and construction.Understanding of regional and national regulationsRelationships with public, private, regional and national clients and professionalsDelivery and technical execution of water resources, treatment, and conveyance facilitiesWater Systems Sustainable DesignWater Systems Best Management Practices (BMPs)Key role functions include, but are not limited to the following:Drives implementation and execution of tactical business plans with direction from a LATAM Region Leader for growth and profitability of the regional water business line, aligned with AECOM global water business line strategy and programs.Drives regional water business line development activities, regional client management for water business line and manages regional water business line resources. Provides input into LATAM strategic/operating plan.Responsible for CRMS(Salesforce) and management of water business line pipelinePresent in selected conferences to further enhance the AECOM brand and exposure in the water business line market.Lead key strategic pursuits including Client Negotiations, Scope development and assist with the development of Delivery strategies in collaboration with the Operations Team.Identifies new business opportunities for AECOM, coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promotes AECOM's capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective clients.Participates in project opportunity evaluation, consultant selection, and the preparation of AECOM's qualification/experience statements.Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by senior management.Directs project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitors subcontractors' compliance with contractual commitments.May supervise technical professionals, associate project managers, and design staff including workload and staffing management.Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:BA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 3+ years of leadership.Strong understanding of the Water and Sanitation industry in Colombia and Peru.Demonstrated experience in developing new business in the Water and Sanitation industry to public and private clients.Advanced level English in a business environment.Additional InformationPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in engineering, Business, or related fieldFifteen (15) or more years of related experienceTen (10) or more years of business development experienceProfessional Engineering license in Colombia or PeruExperience and familiarity with water related projects design, planning, and management.Candidates must have proven interpersonal skills, including client interaction, public speaking, and persuasive ability; strong project financial management along with ability to lead diverse, multi-disciplined teams.About AECOMAECOM is the world's trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
