Pay Information: $26.00 per hour About this Position: Ensure supplier part deliveries have arrived within system upon check in and departed in system upon check out to provide visibility of parts needed for CBU production to our customers. Responsibilities include: Arrive, receive, depart direct supplier deliveries within GCCS and GPCS system Coordinate mixed direct/indirect shipments for unloading and then yard storage. Maintain and report trailer tracking sheet to all shifts using Microsoft Excel Provide truck drivers directions to live unloading or dropping location. Populate and print driver BOL's Conduct yard checks at site upon request Initiate DTR in NARS for receiving issues regarding deviations from the Supplier Delivery Manual and EDI Barcode processes (blue book) Communicate across departments and shifts daily Who we are seeking: Required Work Experience: Minimum 6 Months Warehouse Experience, Receiving, Put-away Required Education: High school Diploma/GED Desired skills: Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain, & transportation GPCS (Global Production Control System) GCCS (Global Consolidation Center System) Good written and verbal communication Additional Position Factors: Workstyle: Onsite Primarily in office setting, will need to walk for long periods of time and distance to conduct yard checks occasionally Must be able to operate a computer Must be able to work flexible schedule including shifts and weekends as necessary Must be willing to travel as required Must be able to work overtime as necessary to support department needs (short term and/or scheduled) Able to support additional LC projects as needed (Print Room, Inventory Cycle Counts, Data entry) At Honda, you will play a key role in our journey to become a company that society wants to exist now, and in the future.
