The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the payments and fraud landscape in emerging markets, as well as a proven track record of success in managing and growing payments businesses.What will you be doing? The Vice President of Payments and Fraud will have a worldwide impact in all the different countries where dLocal is present.Develop and execute dLocal's payments and fraud strategy in emerging marketsOversee all aspects of payment processing, from merchant onboarding to dispute resolutionDevelop and implement fraud prevention strategies for both buyers and sellersManage relationships with payment processors, banks and merchantsWork with the product and IT teams to develop and launch new products and featuresBuild a "world-class" ecosystem of payments and fraudOptimize general payment conversion rate and reduce processors' rejectionsManage a multicultural team of more than 40 people in Latam, Europe, and ChinaWhat skills do you need? 8+ years of experience in payments or fraud management4+ years of experience in emerging marketsProven track record of success in managing and growing payments businessesDeep understanding of the payments and fraud landscape in emerging marketsExcellent leadership, communication, and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with payment processors and banks in emerging marketsExperience with fraud prevention tools and techniquesExperience with data analysis and reportingFluent in English is requiredExperience with Asian clients highly valuedExperience with project management would be desiredFluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese are a plusWhat happens after you apply?Our Talent Acquisition team is invested in creating the best candidate experience possible, so don't worry, you will definitely hear from us.
