Key Responsibilities: Advocate for our company's positions before local and state government agencies, providing oversight and leadership to team members, consultants, and lobbyists, while engaging directly through personal efforts and activities. Analyze state legislative proposals and local ordinance activities, advising on needed amendments. Monitor and track potential legislative proposals that could impact our operations and interests. Coordinate public policy advocacy efforts with trade associations and other key stakeholders to align strategies and advance our interests. Facilitate our compliance with applicable regulatory requirements by monitoring changes, implementing policies, and providing guidance to internal teams. Manage project budgets by tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and ensuring alignment with financial goals and timelines. Collaborate closely with our executive team to align policy messaging with company objectives and drive strategic goals. Manage and provide leadership to AMAROK's Government Relations Directors and Director of Compliance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory priorities. Requirements: 5+ years of experience working with state and local government policies. Prior experience analyzing and proposing needed amendments. Experience successfully identifying and supervising consultants and lobbyists. 10+ years of experience in one of the following: government agency, corporation, trade association, large national law firm, or large regional law firm.
