The Opportunity
We are looking for a6-monthsintern to join our development A-team as ofFebruary 2025. In this internship, you will work within the verification team on cutting-edge robot testing methodologies, which offers you the possibility to experience and contribute to various development and production aspects of our systems.
We ensure that our robots and their mechatronic sub-systems meet the necessary functionality and safety standards to be deployed autonomously for industrial inspection missions.

ANYbotics transforms industrial plants in the energy, process, and utility sector by introducing robotics to a wide range of novel applications that so far were beyond reach. Our customers are large asset operators and industrial service providers pioneering the use of robotics technology for inspection and maintenance. Our mobile robot ANYmal uses legs for extreme mobility in complex environments, camera- and LIDAR-based sensing for full autonomy and obstacle avoidance, and AI for high-quality and consistent inspection results. We develop numerous customized hardware systems, including the entire robotic platform, actuators, sensors, inspection payloads, charging systems, and all related ANYbotics electrical hardware.
Your Contributions
Design and develop novel infrastructures for robotics testing
Perform various tests on full robot platforms as well as bench tests of robots sub-systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve both software and hardware aspects of our ANYmal products
Support the development of new robot functionalities through testing and simulations
Your Profile
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in physics, mechanical or electrical engineering
Basic coding knowledge (preferably python) for control and data analysis
Basic experience in designing and executing experiments, involving sensors and mechatronic systems
Ability to work autonomously in a team and to research and develop new methodologies
Good communication skills in English both verbally and in writing
Bonus Points
Basic understanding of electronics and electronic systems
Familiarity with robotics frameworks such as ROS1/ROS2
