Instrumental Group is looking for another world-class UX Design Strategist. We're looking for an ambitious, driven individual with a grasp of digital design best practices. Proficiency in all forms of digital design software is required, but it's web design and strategy that are top priorities. As a UX Design Strategist, you'll lead the strategy and design elements of our client engagements. This includes website redesigns and marketing graphic design support. This is not a print-related position. We're looking for a designer who is experienced with digital. The prospective team member should understand how to work with deadlines, be driven to succeed, and be highly organized. A prospective team member should have a strong understanding of what agency life requires. Job Responsibilities: Support clients and internal team members in executing client work effectively to meet project timelines. Own discovery, strategy, and documentation for website redesigns. This includes client research, hosting design workshops, sitemap, user experience mapping, and aligning to search engine optimization (SEO) and conversion-focused practices. Create and present page designs with best practices. Ideate and create graphic design for digital use such as PDFs, call-to-actions, emails, and social/ad posts. Support the implementation and quality of web pages. Qualifications & Work Experience: BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience. At least 3 years working in a similar role. Fluent in English and comfortable interacting with English-speaking clients. Have significant experience with modern UX design methodology. Extensive digital design portfolio; without the proper portfolio, you'll be overmatched. Skilled in Sketch, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to collaborate with other team members on concept design solutions. Ability to strategically analyze each project and help determine ideal user experience within best practice digital marketing principles. Complement a marketing strategy driven towards goals and deliverables by adding design interpretation to produce fantastic final designs. Create/Modify/Optimize graphics and other source assets for existing online materials. Be current with new developments in design software, web trends, and related technologies. Effectively manage multiple engagements and deliverables simultaneously and ensure successful and timely completion. Coding skills are a big plus. Committed to creating great UI/UX. Working knowledge of Google Suite, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word. Experience in HubSpot is a huge advantage. Soft Skills: Ability to command a conversation and hold project contributors accountable. Demonstrate persistence.
