Key Responsibilities: - ETL Testing: Conduct thorough testing of ETL processes, with a focus on Azure Data Factory and Alteryx, to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with business rules.
- Quality Assurance in Transformations: Implement quality assurance practices to validate the XSLT transformations and XML outputs.
Ensure the correctness and efficiency of the transformations.
- Test Plan Development: Develop detailed test plans and cases for ETL processes, particularly focusing on XSLT transformations and the generation of XML outputs.
- Automation of Test Procedures: Utilize and develop automated testing tools and scripts to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the testing process.
- Web Service Integration Testing: Focus on testing web service integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange between various systems and services.
- Performance Testing: Assess the performance of ETL processes, especially those involving complex XSLT transformations, to ensure they meet the desired efficiency and speed benchmarks.
- Defect Identification and Resolution: Identify, document, and report any issues or discrepancies found in ETL processes or XSLT transformations.
Work collaboratively with the team for timely resolutions.
- Data Security and Compliance: Ensure all ETL processes, including XSLT transformations, adhere to data security standards and compliance requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, data engineering, and business units, to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of ETL test processes, test plans, test cases, and findings for future reference and audits.
Key Requirements: - Proficiency in ETL testing, particularly with Azure Data Factory and Alteryx.
- Strong experience in writing and testing XSLT transformations for XML outputs.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools like Jenkins, SOAPUI, or any similar industry standard.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems.
- Understanding of performance testing methodologies.
- Experience in data security and compliance in ETL processes.
Key Knowledge and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ETL Testing script writing and execution.
- 3-4 years of experience in ETL development, preferably with HRIS systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
- Demonstrated experience with Azure Data Factory, Alteryx, and XSLT.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications in Azure, Alteryx, or relevant fields.
- Experience in the financial or professional services industries.
