We are seeking a talented UEFN Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, integrating, and optimizing Unreal Engine technology within Fortnite Islands using UEFN. You will work closely with designers and other developers to bring innovative gameplay experiences to life. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and optimize gameplay mechanics and features for Fortnite Islands using UEFN. Develop and maintain custom tools and scripts to enhance the creation and iteration process within UEFN. Collaborate with designers to implement gameplay features, ensuring they are fun, engaging, and performant. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to gameplay, performance, and scalability within Fortnite Islands. Optimize game performance, focusing on load times, memory usage, and CPU/GPU utilization. Work with the team to integrate new content and features into the Fortnite ecosystem, ensuring compatibility and stability. Document and share best practices for UEFN within the team. Requirements: Scripting languages like Verse, Lua or C#. Experience in game development projects. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, Unreal Revision Control, or Perforce. Solid understanding of game development workflows. Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently.
