The work of the Apparmor teamis strategically important to Ubuntu's security posture, safeguardingboth end-users and Canonical's diverse range of products, includingUbuntu Core, Snaps and Microk8s.You will work alongside fantastic security professionals already onboardat Canonical, and share your time between contributing technically, andmanaging team members and projects. You will also get to closelycollaborate with various other Canonical Engineering teams (Kernel, Core,Snapd, Foundations), the upstream open source community, and our businesspartners.This role would suit either an experienced manager of high performingsoftware development teams, or a very proficient technical lead who isexcited to take on a management responsibility.
