Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates to fill various positions within the organization.
This role requires a strong understanding of recruitment processes and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective strategies to attract top talent.
Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
Generate leads for potential candidates through networking, job fairs, and online platforms.
Address driver concerns and conflicts, ensuring timely resolutions.
Administer and review background checks and Motor Vehicle Records (MVR).
Collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions that accurately reflect the requirements of each position.
Perform internal recruiting efforts to identify talent within the organization for open positions.
Assist in talent management initiatives by providing insights on workforce trends and candidate feedback.
Maintain accurate records of all recruiting activities and candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system.
Skills Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate qualifications effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Experience with employee orientation or training programs is a plus.
Knowledge of DOT regulations, driver qualifications, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements Experience in trucking industry and recruitment.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
PC, smartphone, and stable internet connection.
