Business Background In today's financial atmosphere, our Citi Trade business environment is dramatically influenced by current and potential upcoming dynamic trends. These trends include automation, artificial intelligence, cyber-attacks, complex regulations, government restrictions, and globalization. Our Trade organization is leading efforts towards a culture of change, global alignment, and ongoing adaptation. Our goal is to improve our communication model and operational recommendations to ensure alignment with strategic direction, integrate business processes between multiple organizations, and coordinate business process changes and system solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design process flows and process documentation standards in cooperation with management and user personnel. Define, assess, design, and recommend process improvements and technology upgrades for implementation to meet business objectives. Analyze and identify opportunities for business process improvements through different re-engineering techniques. Develop initiatives for continuous business process improvements. Work with management to identify business needs, requirements, processes, and risks. Contribute to and collaborate with trade operations projects, including but not limited to: Footprint & Right Placement process analysis, migrations process review, capacity planning, and process mapping. Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors. Development Value: Acquire knowledge of our Trade business: Documentary Services, Trade Finance, Trade Working Capital Finance, and related operational processes. Become a subject matter expert in business planning and analysis for operations supported within the financial trade industry. Gain experience and improve skills through collaboration with regional and local operation experts, external processing suppliers, and project managers across our different products. Qualifications Knowledge/Experience: Process Improvement Process Modeling Quality Financial Trade Services Relevant work experience. Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Documentation and organization skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Desired: BPMN 2.0 tool, DocuSign, Lean Methodology, Smart Automation tools. Skills: Ability to see the big picture and understand project objectives to apply understanding to operational improvement initiatives. Skills in developing, collecting, and analyzing data to support performance metrics. Ability to create business process maps ("As Is" - "To Be") for dynamic scenario analysis. Ability to formally present and document analytical work and strategies in a simple and succinct manner. Highly analytical, self-motivated, and inquisitive regarding process improvement. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective interfacing with all levels of management and team members. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with mature judgment. Tech-savvy collaborator. Ability to adapt to ad hoc operational task requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Computing Science. Knowledge of Continuous Process Improvement Methodologies, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing (a plus). Knowledge in Business Process Analysis. International Trade, Finance, and Banking Background (a plus).
