About the role
The Veins (Thrombectomy and Endovascular) therapy development specialist is a clinically oriented business ambassador for a proven procedure to treat peripheral vascular disease. This role will execute thrombectomy therapy adoption initiatives. This individual is a trusted clinical partner and thrombectomy specialist to drive safe adoption, superior outcomes, and achieve sales revenue for this therapy. The Veins (Thrombectomy and Endovascular) Therapy Development Specialist practices excellent clinical/case acumen and relationship management with medical and healthcare professional clients and serves as a clinical role model across the FCS team.
The position is responsible for increasing the number of patients treated and/or market share of Thrombectomy and Endovascular franchises products in Colombia, while developing and leveraging relationships with key opinion leaders/management of hospitals and medical societies. In addition to marketing initiatives, this role will be responsible for developing education and training programs for physicians and hospital staff in the thrombectomy and endovascular portfolio, including patient identification, and follow-up procedures.
Your responsibilities will include
Participate in medical training, product development programs and maintain high standards of personal and professional conduct
Develop and maintain comprehensive clinical and technical knowledge of the product. Understand current events Published (thrombectomy and endovascular) and relevant literature. Recognize and understand competitive products, industry thrombectomy and endovascular portfolio trends and portfolio.
Maintain communication with leadership and sales of the thrombectomy and endovascular portfolio by providing market intelligence and potential sales leads
Plan and implement effective clinical/product presentations to clients.
Maintains knowledge of industry, competition, healthcare and economic trends and their impact on short- and long-term Thrombectomy and endovascular business plans, adjusting plans and strategies as necessary to reflect market conditions.
Identify new business opportunities and accounts by developing and leveraging relationships with academic and research institutions and key opinion leaders
Works in close cooperation with the clinical specialist, and sales teams to develop and maintain working relationships with the economic buyer on key accounts in their region
Case assistance and clinical support in the operating room to ensure the correct use of technology
What We Are Looking for in You
Required qualifications:
Professional in Life sciences, Biomedical Engineering or Business Administration
Previous experience in commercial and/or clinical medical device or related experience in a hospital environment role with proven record of sales growth (+4 years)
English Level: advanced. Minimum requirement B1/B2
Availability for local, regional, and international travels
