Position: Telemedicine Family Medicine Physician Location: Remote Contract Type: Independent Contractor Company: MHG Overview: MHG is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our telemedicine network, providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages through remote consultations.
This role involves diagnosing, managing, and preventing a wide range of health conditions, with a focus on long-term patient care and continuity.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct virtual consultations for a variety of common and chronic health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, respiratory infections, and mental health concerns.
Provide preventive care guidance, including routine check-ups, health screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle advice.
Develop and manage treatment plans tailored to individual patients, including medication management and follow-up care.
Offer family-centered care, addressing the needs of patients across all age groups—from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Provide ongoing management for chronic conditions and monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups.
Maintain accurate, detailed, and secure patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications: Medical degree with specialization in Family Medicine.
Valid medical license and board certification in Family Medicine.
Broad experience in managing diverse health conditions; telemedicine experience is an asset.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients of all ages and their families remotely.
Proficiency in using telemedicine platforms and electronic health records.
