Position: Telemedicine Cardiologist Location: Remote Contract Type: Independent Contractor Company: MHG Overview: MHG is seeking an experienced Cardiologist to join our telemedicine network, providing expert consultations and care for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
This role involves diagnosing, managing, and advising on a range of heart-related health issues remotely.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct virtual consultations for a wide array of cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and valvular heart disease.
Develop and manage personalized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle changes, and follow-up care.
Interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitors remotely.
Provide guidance on preventive cardiology, including risk factor management and patient education.
Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure comprehensive cardiovascular care.
Offer emergency advice and guidance on acute cardiac issues when needed.
Maintain detailed, accurate, and secure patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications: Medical degree with specialization in Cardiology.
Valid medical license and board certification in Cardiology.
Extensive experience in managing cardiovascular conditions; telemedicine experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills for delivering complex medical information remotely.
Proficiency in using telemedicine platforms and electronic health records.
