What You Will Do Key Responsibilities * It will be assigned a plant for inspection management, GEMBAS, production meetings, risks, among other EHS scope issues that arise for direct, temporary support and contractors Participate in activities related to industrial safety: Creation of work permits, updating SOPs, participate in the Gembas team, participate in safety analysis of machinery.
* Evaluate non-routine tasks in conjunction with the different processes.
* Ensure that adequate hazard identification and risk assessment are carried out for the tasks of contractors, plant personnel, and external areas.
* Authorize special work, after verifying the completion of the respective work permits and compliance with EHS&S standards and requirements on site when required in support of the technicians hired for this work.
* Report, facilitate reporting and follow up on reports of Good Saves, industrial safety, health or environmental incidents * Perform EHS&S induction on all contractors, temporary or direct when required.
* Attend assigned production meetings, support in EHS standards, some but not exclusive: * Critical Load Handling * Schedule solo work * Slip and fall schedule * JSA Program * Work permit management * Software Support Machine Safety * Electrical Safety Support * Contractor management support * EHS Training Support * Research Support What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications * Professional Degree in Occupational Health, Engineering or Related Areas.
* Occupational Health and Safety License, 50-hour occupational health and safety course or 20-hour renewal if applicable.
* 2 years of experience in food, pharmaceutical or consumer manufacturing plants in leading industrial safety processes, contractors, machine safety, electrical safety, control of hazardous energies, High-risk activities.
Desired Qualifications * Basic English level in reading, writing and conversation.
* Preferable Certification in functional safety in machinery (functional safety engineer) or related experience, special task such as working at heights, confined spaces, hot work.
* Preferable ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 internal Auditor.
