Job Description The Technical Support Associate assists in managing all Data Center Infrastructure Management related activities for Groupe supported sites to ensure maximum possible service availability and performance.
The candidate will work closely with Network, Server, Facilities, Real Estate and OTS teams in supporting the office server and network closet room installations, deployments, consolidations, coordinating data center maintenance and outage events.
Responsible for all aspects of bottom of rack UPS/Rack PDU (primarily Schneider Electric/APC) and environmental monitoring hardware including software/firmware updates, hardware upgrades, performance management and capacity planning for the environment.
Qualifications The candidate must have knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and products including: Experience in Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, working with virtual infrastructures (i.e.
VMWare, MS Hypervisor).
SNMP (versions 1 and 3), HTTPS/HTTP, SSH/Telnet, TCP/IP, DHCP Exemplary communication and follow-up skills.
Ability to work well individually or in a team setting.
Outstanding customer service and the ability to build working relationships with business stakeholders.
Able to troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
Able to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Able to evaluate and recommend sound technology solutions.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
