This role is crucial in bridging the gap between non-technical clients and technical candidates during interviews.
The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise and the ability to translate complex technical discussions into clear, non-technical insights.
They will provide clients with a comprehensive understanding of a candidate's seniority, technical proficiency, and suitability for the role.
Key Responsibilities: Interview Support: Attend candidate interviews alongside non-technical clients, guiding them through technical discussions and evaluating the candidate's skills in real-time.
Technical Translation: Translate technical language and jargon into easy-to-understand explanations, enabling clients to make informed decisions about the candidate's qualifications and fit.
Candidate Evaluation: Assess the candidate's technical expertise and provide insights into their seniority level, strengths, and potential gaps.
Clear Reporting: Deliver post-interview summaries and evaluations to clients, clearly outlining the candidate's technical abilities, level of experience, and potential contribution to the team.
Client Education: Assist clients in understanding the technical requirements of their roles and the relevance of certain skills and experiences, helping them to refine their hiring criteria.
Collaboration: Work closely with both the client and internal recruitment teams to ensure that technical evaluations align with the job requirements and organizational goals.
Qualifications: Technical Background: Proven experience in software development, engineering, or a related technical field (5+ years preferred).
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.
Evaluation Expertise: Experience in evaluating technical candidates across various levels of seniority, from junior to senior roles.
Interview Experience: Comfortable participating in and leading technical interviews, with a solid understanding of industry-standard tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
Client-Facing Experience: Ability to work directly with clients, providing clear and concise feedback and recommendations.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze technical problems and evaluate candidate solutions during interviews.
Team Player: Collaborative approach, working effectively with recruitment teams and client stakeholders.
Preferred Skills: Experience with various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
Familiarity with industry-standard technical assessments or coding challenges.
Prior experience in recruitment or talent acquisition is a plus.
