About the role As a Tax & Report Coordinator you need to ensure the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and timely compliance with the company's tax obligations in accordance with current regulations. Follow up on accounting reconciliations, tax returns and working papers. Working together with the accounting area to measure and analyze the fiscal impact in the routines in an efficient way following our values. This role reports into our Accounting Lead CO EC, based out of Bogota Support Office. A day in the life: Financial Statements and Reporting Support Accounting Lead in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing. Initiate and perform analysis of general ledger reserves. Track and analyze bank and receivables reconciliations. Monitor accounts payable. Monitor gift certificates and reconciliation. Establish routines and follow-ups for securities reserves and intercompany transactions. Establish routines for fixed asset reserves and depreciation calculations. Communicate with external auditable authorities. Reporting to the parent company in accordance with IFRS standards. Establish routines for monitoring accounting accounts (reconciliations, recalculations and working papers). Establish and perform routines for the fulfillment of required manual payments. Report information required by the global accounting team. Tax Compliance Review and approval of tax returns for their correct filing within the deadlines established by law. Coordinate the execution of activities, processes, and procedures for compliance with federal, national and local tax obligations, with external auditors in accordance with current regulations. Request the approval of the payment of taxes in the banking portal. Deliver the information required by the Global team related to tax issues. Implement required changes in tax regulations working together with the areas involved. Provide support to the internal and external audit teams on the Company's tax figures. Ensure the submission of the electronic accounting through the authority's portal. Supervise the correct delivery of the different reports requested by the governmental entities whether monthly, quarterly, and annual. Attend and respond to visits, audits and requirements from tax authorities and other entities including customs and foreign exchange issues. Coordinate and prepare the information for the calculation of income tax provision and corporate and local deferred tax. Provide support to the Company on regulatory changes in tax matters. Coordinate the information for the preparation of the Transfer Pricing report. Manage day-to-day queries and support the business in tax matters. General Local Fiscal Planning Analyze and communicate the tax impacts for the company derived from regulatory changes. Identify and evaluate tax risks and make recommendations. Monitor and communicate the tax requirements of the company's operations to minimize risks and inconsistencies and avoid penalties. To be permanently updated on standards, policies and procedures in accounting, tax and commercial matters. Who You Are: Professional in Public Accounting. At least 5 years of experience in the accounting and tax area. SAP level: High. Excel level: High. English level: Intermediate/Advanced (Fluent). Knowledge of tax regulations. Knowledge in IFRS.
