Tax Analyst

About the role As a Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and analysis of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. This role involves working closely with several departments to provide tax-related insights, perform tax research, and support tax planning strategies. What you'll do Prepare the information/documentation and review of tax returns prepared primarily by third-party advisor(s), e.g., withholding tax returns, turnover tax, VAT, and income tax returns. Review and analyze tax returns and payments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Support the tax compliance process across the LATAM region. Assist with the management of tax audits/requests from tax authorities or external auditors to meet deadlines. Assist other areas with tax advice. Assist in the reconciliations of tax accounts. Assist in the continuous improvement of the indirect tax return compliance process by improving systems data and creating streamlined processes. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced formulas. At least 3 years of experience as a Tax Consultant (desirable but not required in big four). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly motivated and capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Intermediate proficiency in English. #J-18808-Ljbffr
