Globally, GroupM Nexus employs more than 9,000 biddable media specialists, of which 1500 are in Offshore Delivery Hubs in Mexico, Colombia, India, and Poland. About the role The Offshore hub in Latam is looking for a Talent Acquisition LATAM Director. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of about 6 TA specialists to achieve the staffing requirements for the Latam hub. This role will have dual reporting to the head of Talent for Offshore hub and to the head of Talent Acquisition for GroupM Latam. The ideal candidate for this trail-blazing team will act as a strategic talent advisor, in partnership with our key stakeholders, driving the end–to–end recruitment process. You will work to locate and attract the best and brightest talent to the Offshore hub by articulating the unique career opportunities available to specialists in the Offshore hub. You will need to be resourceful in meeting short-term spikes in demand coming from markets around the world. You will also have to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the TA team and in the profiles of specialists being hired. During peak hiring months, you will have to close 50-60 hires per month at different levels of seniority, and across different media activation specializations. Measures of success: In three months, you would have: Understood the GroupM local, regional and global operating model, with specific insight into GroupM Nexus Offshore vision and operations. Developed strong relationships and built trust with local and global stakeholders. Familiarized yourself with our current hiring approach and identified opportunities to improve upon it. Connected and built relationships with your internal team and with the rest of the GroupM Latam TA community which supports the local operations. In six months, you would have: Started making a significant business impact through your understanding, knowledge and initiatives. Created a talent pipeline for open and anticipated positions across Paid Search, Programmatic, Paid Social, Commerce, Adops, Digital IO, SEO and Analytics. In 12 months, you would have: Successfully launched your most important and impactful TA strategy based on the needs of the agency. Created a network in the talent market. Developed and managed a diverse pipeline of candidates, while actively managing a high volume of searches. Understood the entire company's business context, composition, competencies, deliverables and their stakeholders and supported leadership with hiring of key positions. What your day job looks like at GroupM: Own end-to-end Talent Acquisition life cycle for all channels across geographies, with a strong focus on strategy, planning, driving fulfilment metrics and building world-class systems and processes. Provide leadership to the sourcing process across campus, volume, and niche hiring through all related channels of recruitment. Continuously review, improve, and facilitate effective talent acquisition processes yielding the best talent pipeline and efficient selection process to match current and future talent needs. Identify the skills and competencies required to support current and future business activities. Utilize recruitment media, job fairs, and e-recruiting tools as required to attract qualified candidates. Develop relationships with hiring managers, global teams, and leadership level and strategically develop hiring plans for the unit. Planning off and on campus hiring to help build internal pipeline for the unit based on business requirements. Competition mapping: Identify competition companies and gather key insights about their team structures and profiles. Establish a strong collaborative mechanism to solve difficult mandates with a focus on meeting the expectations of multiple stakeholders. Manage and train a team of mid-senior to junior recruiters supporting hiring for GroupM Nexus- Offshore global team. Develop and manage metrics to measure the growth and performance of your Talent acquisition team. Provide accurate, up-to-date and informative recruitment dashboards along with reporting of recruiting effectiveness. Partner closely with the stakeholders to understand the diversity and inclusion goals of the organization. Proactive engagement with the relevant external talent pool to ensure seamless succession planning. Proactive talent mapping to understand the construct of external talent on role mix, compensation levels, etc. Ensure the internal tools and ATS are updated on real-time bases for leadership and global team review. What you'll bring: Relevant experience. Demonstrated experience of working in process-oriented and high-quality work environments. Planning & Organizing – prioritizes & plans work activities, well organized & methodical approach. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Process-oriented, have a passion for identifying top talent, partnering with a collaborative team, and driving results. Analytical skills – able to interpret present information which drives decision-making. Ability to create high-quality processes and lead the team to adhere to those standards. Proven track record of leading the Talent agenda in an independent capacity. Minimum qualifications & Skills needed: 7+ years of relevant experience in high-volume hiring is required. Experience in leadership hiring is a must-have. Ability to manage a large high-performing team of Talent specialists. Prior experience in hiring for biddable media activation roles is required.
