Systems Administrator - Hybrid Job Description: This role is hybrid. The Systems Administrator, Managed Hosting role supports the infrastructure within the Infrastructure Managed Hosting (IMS) environment. The Systems Administrator will provide escalation support for incidents and service requests. The Systems Administrator reports to the Manager, IMS Operations. You will work with a team of geographically distributed staff and contract employees. The ideal candidate will have the ability to self-start and logically prioritize workloads from multiple workstreams, while communicating progress or pitfalls. In addition, the ideal candidate should actively seek out new knowledge and skills, and will maintain consistent performance quality, avoiding repeat mistakes to learn and grow. Responsibilities: You will implement, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux OS servers. You will implement, configure, and maintain multiple Cloud-based and on-premise Data Center services. You will configure and maintain Active Directory Domain Services, supporting Active Directory tasks. You will deploy and maintain Cloud-based IaaS Virtual Machines, Application, and Networking Services to support growth into the Cloud. You will troubleshoot and provide technical support of Enterprise-class systems, following ITIL/ITSM processes while maintaining compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards. You will provide Incident and Service Request support for assigned IT and Managed Hosting platforms. You will plan, coordinate, and execute Change Management activities. You will ensure that all solutions are aligned with ITIL/ITSM standards. You will ensure that controls for Security and Availability of the IMS environment are maintained and followed, identifying areas in need of improvement and developing a solution that addresses those needs. You will manage multiple Incidents and Service Requests while adapting to changing business conditions. You will document Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable tasks. You will provide input to automation efforts. You will be an escalation point for Incidents and Service Requests the Tier 1 Analyst teams are unable to resolve. You will provide on-call and after-hours support as required. Other duties as required as our needs change. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience implementing enterprise-class solutions operating in a 24/7/365 environment. Cloud Certification(s) from (GCP, AWS, or Azure) desired. Experience critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. DevOps experience is desired. Direct experience working with Enterprise infrastructure concepts and Standard Operating Procedures. A track record of learning new skills, techniques, and responsibilities, and training other team members in them. The anticipated salary range for this position is $59,000-$96,025. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
