The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Windows operating systems, VMware virtualization, and secure file transfer protocols. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Administer and support Windows server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Manage and maintain VMware virtualization platforms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Oversee secure file transfer operations, including the setup and management of file transfer protocols and encryption methods. Perform regular system updates, backups, and security patches to maintain system integrity and protect against vulnerabilities. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operation of IT services. Collaborate with other IT staff to implement and support IT projects and initiatives. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users as needed. Qualifications: Mid-level experience in system administration, with a strong background in Windows and VMware. Proficiency in secure file transfer protocols and related security practices. Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, VMware Certified Professional) are a plus but not required.
