Support Engineer

Job Description: Primary Skillset: • SQL Server, SSIS, C# .Net, VB.Net Good to have skills: Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Azure Databricks & Python. Principal Accountabilities: Production support tasks: Picking up incidents in Service Now ticketing tool, acknowledging, responding with proper updates and determining solutions. Good debugging skills to do the RCA and provide permanent fixes. Developing automation tools and enhancing existing processes/systems/manual tasks on applications assigned. Continue to study and review systems to improve understanding of them (domain and new technologies). Communicating with users with clear details in emails and Service Now for assigned incidents. Learning technologies in a short time and applying them over the system appropriately. Job Skill Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience with development or support projects on SQL Server and C#.Net/VB.Net. Ability to migrate legacy systems/servers to higher versions. Ability to write and analyze complex SQL procedures and performance tuning. Ability to work on multiple projects/reports concurrently. Strong troubleshooting skills.
