Position Description:
The role will be responsible for managing movements of inventory from and to third parties and maintaining documental control for these processes.
Key measurements for success include exceeding customer service levels and projecting and managing inventory levels.
The position will interface daily with Sales, Trade, Segment teams, Finance, and Warehouse.
Responsibilities: Maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand and eliminate excess inventory exposure.Translate customer demand into an executable production/purchasing plan; manage local product procurement, purchase orders, and local production planning activities.Active communication with third parties to ensure that supply plans are aligned in size, capacity, and timing.Develop and maintain effective communication and relationships with business partners including Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing teams & Warehouse.Report potential service issues, shortages, and capacity constraints to supply chain leaders.Publish Prior Month KPIs: Inventory bridges, service, E&O, AF projections.Manage supply planning for assigned product platforms for the region.Continuously review market performance against current planning requirements to anticipate issues in product availability.Work closely with Marketing Activation to execute all Innovation projects on time; participate in project meetings.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related Analytical Discipline.High English level.Must be able to work cross-functionally to manage inventory levels appropriately to meet the anticipated needs of the business.Proficient in MS Software – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.SAP experience (MM, PP, APO, PP/DS, Reporting) is a plus.Proficiency in MRP and MRP Theory.Minimum 3 years' experience in master scheduling, forecasting, procurement, and planning.Ability to effectively communicate and present information to all levels of the organization.Creative problem solving, attention to detail, and conflict resolution skills.Strong interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and collaborative skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, and more.
