What You'll Do As an SRO Manager, you will be responsible for directing and setting the strategies for goods, material and/or services, identifying opportunities for cost negotiation, contract development, capacity planning, project management, process development, cost and quality improvement plans and management of business reviews. Implements sourcing strategies to support a competitive advantage in the areas of materials, supplies, and services, leveraging analytics, market, supplier and competitive intelligence. Drives Total Cost of Ownership reductions for category through analytics. Clearly define category taxonomy and manage baseline. Leads change and innovation. Stimulates creativity and innovation in others. Open to new ideas. Supports change and take risks. Promotes a Regional and Global Perspective. Define and champion category procurement strategy for Abbott EPD Colombia - align with overall strategy and be an enabler Negotiates and manages contracts/agreements with low to medium risk and low to medium complexity. Develops risk management strategies and recommends short and long terms strategies with defined risk/benefit strategies. Maintains budget and performs analyses of costs related to cost of materials. Continually look for opportunities for cost reductions and cost avoidance. Measure and monitors supplier capability and performance to ensure maintenance of deliver, quality and price commitments. Maintains and promotes sound relationships with suppliers and business community. Supports projects to assure all procurement activities are performed as required. Identifies, develops, and implements processes to improve department performance and efficiency. Creates and maintains mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement. This includes driving continuous improvements with the supplier base. Complies with pharmaceutical regulations, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. Required Qualifications Degree in Engineer ,Business, Supply Chain or equivalent. Or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum 5 years Progressively responsible experience in purchasing/Supplier/ Category management. 3 years working in a highly regulated environment preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. 3 years working with purchasing/commodity mgt. Experience negotiating terms purchasing agreements. Ability to develop actionable implementation plans. Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment. Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects. Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner. Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Power BI, with high-level working knowledge of SAP.
