This includes entry, manipulation, retrieval, and communication of supplier assessment content according to corporate and site-specific procedures as applicable.
Fosters positive relationships with suppliers and supports functional areas to resolve process issues and drive continuous improvement.
Must be committed to corporate goals of customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.How You'll Create ImpactAdheres to all corporate and site-specific procedures.Creates, documents and coordinates the supplier assessment records and corresponding tasks within dedicated software tools.Escalates immediately potential critical issues to management to help resolve any issues timely.Performs and document follow up as required to obtain necessary information from suppliers and other Zimmer Biomet functions.Ensures that supplier assessment documentation is complete, comprehensible, and conforms with applicable procedures.Ensures compliance within appropriate time limits as determined by procedure.Proactively communicates process improvement opportunities to management.What Makes You Stand OutTime management skills and proven ability in balancing priorities among the many ongoing tasks, and being responsive to critical situations, as this position has a high volume of work, regulatory-mandated time limits, and often changing priorities.Interpersonal skills - able to work in an international environment with individuals at all corporate levels and different culturesKnowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn other software quickly as required.Good oral communication and writing skillsProfessional business conductDetail and precise working personalityYour BackgroundEnglish proficiency is required (C1)Please note that you must submit your resume in English at the time of applying, or your application will not be considered.Bachelors Degree in engineering, life sciences or equivalent.Experience in an Industrial/Medical Environment preferred; medical knowledge an advantageExperience between 1 to 3 years working in quality roles supporting suppliers operations.Must have: English fluent verbal and written.Travel ExpectationsEOE/M/F/Vet/Disability
