You will conduct thorough audits, evaluating suppliers against our stringent quality standards, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving corrective actions to enhance performance. Your day involves collaborating closely with suppliers to develop and refine their processes, ensuring they align with our quality expectations and production needs. You will also play a crucial role in scouting and qualifying new suppliers, expanding our robust supplier network. Your expertise will help maintain our competitive edge by ensuring a steady supply of high-quality components, fostering strong supplier relationships, and contributing to our continuous improvement culture. How you'll make an Impact Apply preventive quality methods aimed at risk minimization, design, maintain, and improve specific Quality requirements, specifications, and concepts based on supplier categorization. Qualify and approve suppliers in cooperation with purchasing. Coordinate product/service qualifications and approvals based on specific requirements/specifications (Ready to order) and collaborate in the creation of technical specifications. Create and negotiate Quality Assurance agreements and monitor their implementation in supplier processes. Plan and execute Supplier Audits, including the follow-up of audit measures. Drive supplier performance and continuous improvement, and collaborate in supplier development programs. What You Bring Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, with 8 to 10 years of experience in the metalworking and cabinet for DT Transformer sector, emphasizing design knowledge. Solid understanding of international quality standards, with exceptional skills in applying preventive quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, RCA, alongside experience in supplier qualification, approval, and audit execution. Proficiency in creating and negotiating quality agreements, coupled with a strong commitment to driving supplier performance and continuous improvement. Excellent command of English for effective technical and quality communication (C1 Level), with strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for working well in cross-functional teams. Demonstrated attention to detail and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Flexibility for up to 60% travel, both domestic and international, to meet business needs.
