Supplier Diversity Lead, International & China Location: Bogotá % Remote working expected: 20%% of travel expected: 20% About the job As Supplier Diversity Lead, International & China within our Supplier Diversity Team, you will play a crucial role in driving our supplier diversity agenda while ensuring compliance with GDPR rules related to diversity and inclusion. You will collaborate closely with various departments to identify, evaluate, and onboard diverse suppliers, emphasizing minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, LGBTQ+-owned, and other diverse businesses. Main responsibilities: Drive GDPR Compliance: Stay informed about GDPR rules and regulations related to diversity and inclusion, providing recommendations and working with local legal and data privacy team for mitigating risks and ensuring compliance across supplier diversity activities. Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of diverse suppliers in compliance with GDPR regulations, ensuring the secure handling of sensitive diversity and inclusion data. External Engagement Conduct research to identify potential diverse suppliers, assessing their capabilities, capacity, and alignment with Sanofi's business needs, while adhering to GDPR guidelines. Represent SANOFI at external supplier diversity conferences, seminars and events with country governments and supplier diversity advocacy groups. Conduct Meet the Buyers exercise – virtual matchmaking to scope diverse suppliers to fill the unmet needs/gaps in specific HACATS and categories. Provide guidance and support to diverse suppliers in navigating the certification process. Internal Stakeholder Management Encourage key stakeholders to participate in the diversity events in assigned regions and promote Sanofi's commitment to diversity globally. Lead the implementation and monitoring of supplier diversity goals and objectives, working closely with procurement, sourcing, and vendor management teams. Work with category teams to assess Procurement project pipeline to identify RFx events that present an opportunity for the inclusion of diverse suppliers. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for diverse supplier participation in sourcing activities, contracts, and projects, while safeguarding the privacy and confidentiality of diversity-related data. Develop and implement educational programs to raise awareness of diversity and inclusion within the procurement team. Work with procurement category leaders to ensure supplier diversity goals are well drafted within the annual goals and objectives of their teams. Ensure regular updates on performance and metrics with category leaders to stay ahead of the game and correct course as needed, guided by the metrics. Training Deliver training and education sessions to internal stakeholders on supplier diversity strategy. Deliver training and education to regional procurement teams about GDPR rules and best practices for diversity and inclusion data management, emphasizing the importance of data privacy and protection. Diverse Supplier Database Management, Reporting & Advocacy: Work with supplier diversity program manager to ensure vendor classification data on diverse suppliers for the region is correct and compliant. Analyze supplier diversity data and prepare reports for management review, highlighting the impact of diversity initiatives on business. Advocate for the integration of diversity and inclusion principles into Sanofi's supplier selection and procurement processes, emphasizing the business case for supplier diversity. About you Experience: 5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, supplier diversity, or related roles. Soft and technical skills: Strong understanding and experience with supplier IO required. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders across functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with experience in data management tools and software. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, economics, or a related field. Languages: Fluent in English is a must. Why choose us?
