About the Role : Responsible for the efficient management of production resources: equipment, personnel, and materials.
Your Responsibilities Include : 1.
Oversee operations efficiency and standardization.
2.
Directly responsible for complying with the production plan and the quality of the product, as well as for line personnel.
3.
Analyze and evaluate process improvements in order to reduce defects and scrap and/or improve yields.
4.
Follow procedures established for each operation and keep work areas organized and clean at all times.
5.
Participate and/or lead problem solving processes, whether due to increasing trends on complaints, defects, scrap, or low productivity, among others.
6.
Provide feedback to PB IV.
7.
Support employee-safety oriented initiatives: rotation programs of line personnel, the use of safety equipment in the production area, and safety awareness programs.
8.
Monitor and update the department's metrics: Yield, Efficiency, Plan Compliance, RCTIME, and Quality.
9.
Lead Operational Excellence (OpEx) initiative, actions, and/or projects.
10.
Have experience with OpEx activities.
11.
Support Transfer activities for Cartago Site.
What We're Looking For : 1.
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or advanced studies in a related career.
2.
Desired knowledge: Problem Solving Methodologies, Lean Tools: 5S, CQE, and/or APICs Certification desirable.
3.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
