The Strategy and Project Manager is responsible for align project management with business strategy execution and for the timely implementation and delivery of assigned projects and/or processes. Strategy In coordination with the MDA, SPM will lead the development of each country from concept phase through the transition to operations using a combination of analytical, project management, change management, facilitation, and business management expertise. This involves understanding what the organization's current strategy is, what has been tried in the past and what it will be in the future. The Strategy and Project Manager will: Play a critical role in helping to analyze and evaluate internal business plans and providing a framework for assure alignment and identify gaps across various business areas. Help tracking competitive trends, developing forecasting models and scenarios analysis, examining strategic performance, spotting emerging market opportunities, identifying business threats, looking for novel strategic solutions, and developing creative action plans. Work with Sales & Operations team of each country and rest of the Share Service organization to get support, define priorities, coordinate activities and to get relevant information for business management. Prepare and contribute to the Regional and each country budget, forecast, monthly sales comment, strategic business reviews and other relevant business document / presentations. Look for synergy in common initiatives and Sales & Operations activities in the Region (MKT & ADV, Sales training & incentives strategy and payback analysis, Value added proposal to clients & Governments, BI & CRM standardization, MCC 2.0, Kiosk/mobile monitoring and improvement, etc) Ensure group and sales strategies, policies and applicable laws are fully respected. Project management Continuously improve, implement, and execute the Global Blue process, including project planning. The holder of this position will: Support and help to coordinate each local organization to ensure high quality execution of one-time projects and/or process changes. Monitoring project schedules, budgets, analysis and log information. Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders, report, and handover to the business. Undertake necessary business initiatives and work out decisions needed to achieve assigned objectives, to catch opportunities, to minimize risk exposure and to improve the quality of the team organization. Regularly establish policies, procedures and training material and secure up-to-date material.
