Reports to: Supply Chain Manager Operations Job Summary: This position will be responsible for managing and developing processes that support the appropriate supply of goods according to the needs of the Home Appliances business in Colombia. Work closely with the Demand, Sales, Marketing, Foreign Trade and Commercial teams to analyze and define the purchasing of goods according to local demand. Execute supply chain plans to ensure adequate inventory levels while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory. Maintain service metrics, inventory projections and reporting as required. Collaborate closely with the Integration Manager to harmonize and standardize procedures, KPIs, and reports across supply planning teams for all segments. In a supporting capacity, lead data analysis and process improvement projects related to inventory optimization, reduction of excess and obsolete inventory, and improvement of supply and demand planning across all segments. Able to lead the S&OP process and supply chain as required. Job Duties: Help facilitate the Sales & Operations Planning Supply Chain processes. Maintain master data in SAP APO & ECC for Supply Planning. Evaluate system generated supply recommendations (Planned Orders) from the MRP heuristic in APO. Create Purchase Orders in SAP, follow up with the vendor to confirm approvals managing supplier platform, update POs. Provide guidance to local teams on inventory strategy, safety stocks, DOH, service levels, promotions, new products, and PO placing strategy. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Trade, Foreign Trade and D&T teams to refine supply plans. Support promotional plans in conjunction with Sales teams, and challenge plans when needed. Work with Marketing to control, communicate and manage new products. Work with Finance and Marketing to develop strategic plans that reduce E&O inventory, track, and report monthly progress. Responsible for maintaining key metrics with documented action items for improvement. Function as a leading member of the S&OP Process. Maintain service metrics, inventory levels weekly/monthly. Maintain adequate inventory levels that meet targets, mitigating and reporting risks weekly. Lead the supply chain as needed and become backup for LATAM Supply in U.S. as well. Collaborate with Marketing team to achieve SKU Rat target. Work in collaboration with Customer Service, Demand Planning and Sales Team to reserve inventory for main customers using Collaborative Forecast. Close follow up with Forwarders and Vendors in collaboration with the foreign trade team, alerting any risks or capacity shortages. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, and resolve issues related with prices, quantities, lead time, etc. Other Duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent undergraduate degree, with related work experience. Desirable Master in Supply. Fluency in English (Written and verbal). Training (or equivalent prior experience) with supply planning tools like SAP APO-SNP, SAP IBP, Oracle ASCP, or equivalent constrained based supply planning tools. More than 5 years experience in purchasing/supply chain (manufacturing environment preferred). Superior computer desktop applications (Excel, Power Point), analytical thinking, and negotiation skills. Self-oriented and multitasking. Easy adaptability to continuous changes. Excellent organizational and teamwork skills and willingness to travel as needed. Proven record of results, commitment, ambition, and drive toward establishing and achieving goals. Ability to work as a team player and demonstrated leadership ability. Excellent written and oral communication skills, high energy, action-oriented. Excellent presentation skills required. Understand the "why" and the business impact of commercial forecast drivers. Ability to influence decisions and translate business impact to stakeholders across different organizational functions.
