Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to deployment of capabilities to monitor, govern, protect, detect, and respond to cyber threats for the manufacturing network and devices along with a robust Business Continuity (Disaster recovery) strategy. Provides oversight and leadership to the project team, ensuring that they are on track to meet their goals and objectives, fostering a culture of collaboration, and accountability. Schedule Management: Develop project schedules, monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and implement strategies to keep projects on schedule. Budget Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure budget compliance & cost-effectiveness in implementing cybersecurity measures. Risk Management: Identify potential risks/issues and vulnerabilities in cybersecurity and infrastructure projects and develop strategies with cross-functional teams to mitigate these risks/issues. Communication: Communicates project status, risks, and issues to executive management and stakeholders on an agreed-upon cadence basis. Implementation Oversight: Supervise the implementation of cybersecurity solutions and deliver program KPIs by ensuring program delivery alignment with strategic enterprise objectives. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and post-implementation reviews. Continuous Improvement: Conduct regular quality reviews, lessons learned of the project to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Usually requires subject matter knowledge of user group for practical application of system characteristics. Ensures that the project adheres to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies and procedures. Implements and ensures adherence to best practices for portfolio, program and project management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Program Governance and Execution: Provide leadership for the program team. Is accountable for overall program governance, process, performance, and customer satisfaction. Establish the team and program framework; manage program related contracts & SOWs; collaborate with IT project managers of other related projects to map & plan for dependencies and align efforts as needed. Engages closely with business, internal global IT partners and external partners to define project requirements and expectations as well as to analyze program planning for strategic alignment, value, and complexity. Leader Doer with hands on ability to produce PM deliverables as needed. Create & maintain program level PM artifacts including Program Plan (Integrated PM Plan) & Charter. Manage program teams for optimal return-on-investment, coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives. Set clear objectives, evaluate progress against objectives, and instill performance-oriented culture with a focus on accountability. Processes & Standards: Contributes to and cultivates a quality culture which promotes delivery excellence, development of business capabilities, process excellence, regulatory compliance, and optimized execution. Optimize procedures, policies, templates, tools, and identify ways to drive efficiency, reduce costs and add value. Assures adherence to Global Portfolio Operations processes and Medtronic Delivery Framework (MDF). Customer Satisfaction: Builds trust and rapport, as the primary principal spokesperson with key senior stakeholders and facilitate executive level discussions. Continuously improves stakeholder satisfaction for the Strategic PMO services. Works closely with all stakeholders to understand the business point-of-view, identify existing processes, customers, and other relevant stakeholders to negotiate and gain cooperation on divergent objectives. Talent Development: Provides direct leadership and support for direct reports, with the strategic objective of increasing overall service offering performance and achieving high-quality work products delivery on time and on budget. Develops talent strategies and acquires, empowers, and retains top talents. Provides recognition, career development training, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports. MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications) Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 10+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree in program/project management, with a focus on software development and deployment. 7+ years of leadership experience, including strategic thinking, decision-making, and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
