Position SummaryAs a member of the Latin America FP&A Team you will be responsible for financial reporting to various functions and leaders within the business.
The role will work closely with financial analysts in the local markets across Latin America, manufacturing operations, commercial team and Stanley Black & Decker Corporate office to consolidate results, provide analysis, and communicate results.
The role will also support cross functional leaders to provide accurate and efficient information to support business activity.
Essential Job FunctionsBe the point of contact for Latin America functional leaders and provide financial reporting and support around Business Units/Categories/Channel/ POS Performance, investments, costs, and ROI for regional projects.Support Annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecasts for Latin America region.Support & Facilitate Strategic Plan Consolidation for Latin America region.Partner with Reporting team to create consistent, regular, accurate, harmonized financial reporting metrics as well as support and drive process automation.Support Margin Improvement Agenda through Price & Mix Tracking, Promotional Activities and Effectiveness tracking and follow-up drivers with potential margin impacts across the region (FX Movements, Price Movements and Cost trends)Supports FP&A Commercial Team with all data reporting needs.Skills & ExperienceBS in Accounting, Finance, or Business PreferredMinimum 5 years of experience in FP&A and/or Commercial Finance in multinational companiesCritical thinking and problem-solving ability: synthesize findings from analysis and draw conclusionsFinancial Modeling – Ability to build scenarios to understand business impact and proposals.Skilled in problem resolution and providing best practices solutions.Able to identify, manage, and lead business improvement projects.Able to work independently as well as within a team setting.Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, SAP (Intermediate to Advanced Level)Proven track record of learning new systems/processes quickly and efficientlySelf-motivated individual with the desire to succeed and motivate othersFluent in English and Spanish.Joining the Stanley Black & Decker team means working in an innovative, tech-driven and highly collaborative team environment supported by over 58,000 professionals in 60 countries across the globe.
