DESCRIPTION Amazon is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Sr. Compliance Manager/CCO for our operations team based in Bogota, Colombia. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building compliance frameworks and policies focused on anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, such as SAGRILAFT requirements. This involves conducting impact analyses of regulatory changes and translating complex requirements into clear guidance for our business leaders. Key Job Responsibilities Develop and maintain AML compliance policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks, and advise cross-functional teams on remaining compliant with local and international regulations. Monitor regulatory changes, assess their impact, and educate senior leaders on compliance requirements to guide the implementation of risk-based controls. Manage regulatory inspections, audits, and relationships with authorities to ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the compliance program, including reporting to senior management on the health and performance of the controls. A Day in the Life As a Sr. Compliance Manager/CCO, you will focus on developing and maintaining AML compliance policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks, advise cross-functional teams on how to remain compliant with local and international AML laws, delivering training and communications to ensure employees understand their compliance obligations, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, to address compliance questions and concerns, monitoring regulatory changes and assessing their impact on our operations, and conducting compliance testing and audits to identify and address any gaps. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent Able to communicate effectively in English, within technical and business settings 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Direct experience in executing compliance office responsibilities for 5+ years and implementing SAGRILAFT requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
