For more information, please visit Amwell.com . Brief Overview: As a Backend Developer Level III, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and responsiveness of our applications. Core Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain backend components using Java with Spring or Node.js. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards and best practices. Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of scalable and secure backend solutions. Optimize existing systems for performance and reliability. Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement technical requirements. Engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application quality. Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD processes and automate deployments. Maintain comprehensive documentation of the system architecture, APIs, and development processes. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring, or 3+ years of experience with Node.js. Strong understanding of backend development principles and best practices. Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and integrating with various data sources. Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Experience with Google Cloud Dataflow (CDR) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
