Job Summary The Senior Tax Analyst participates in and provides support for global tax compliance and tax audit activities. Responsible for the detailed flow of information from the company's financial system to the compliance software. Actively participates in the preparation of various tax returns. Essential Functions Provides assistance with tax information reporting to Corptax. Responsible for the preparation and submission of the income tax provision in GAM to Corptax according to the schedule sent corporately. Responsible for the timely fulfillment of the company's tax obligations, settling and preparing monthly, bimonthly, and annual tax returns and information reports according to the tax administration's due date calendar. Prepares the information for the submission of the Transfer Pricing report and supports the firm in charge of the preparation of the master report. Responsible for the monthly and quarterly closing process, calculating tax accruals, estimated payments, and reconciliation of tax accounts, ensuring that they reflect the correct balances as presented in the tax returns. Ensures that the revenue accounts reflect the reconciled balances between SAP and the tax administration and their electronic billing report. Controls the document posting procedures to ensure that all transactions are recorded following generally accepted accounting principles and analyzing the tax information of each supplier to make the correct update in the SAP modules of tax codes and ensure that the correct rates and concepts are applied according to current regulations. Attends to the requirements of internal and external tax audits. Prepares and submits the report of movements of the clearing account in USD to the Banco de la República monthly. Responsible for accounting and scheduling consolidated payments of customs duties on imports to the tax administration. Responsible for the request for refund or compensation of taxes in favor, applying the rules of the tax administration. QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting. Minimum 3 years of experience as a tax accountant. Additional Qualifications Conversational English. Experience working with SAP.
