Why you'll love this jobThe payroll analyst will report directly to the DSA accounting coordinator. He/she is responsible for preparing the payroll for AA and DSA, assuring accuracy of payments and executing according to the internal policies and governmental procedures.
What you'll doWork multiple projects simultaneously, setting deadlines and adjusting prioritiesWork closely with all stationsPresent results and follow-through to completion for all initiativesSupport the day-to-day oversight of the Disbursements and Banking activitiesPrepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and associated journal entriesOversee month-end AP close and ensure it is processed accuratelyAssist and/or complete miscellaneous ad hoc projects as assignedMeet accounting goals and deadlinesReview and be familiar with accounting policies and procedures, and auditing proceduresMaintain and respect confidentiality at all times and ensure adherence to the Company's Confidentiality PolicyActively participate in regular coaching & counselling meetings, performance reviews, and development meetingsComplete appropriate training as agreed with their manager and take responsibility for self-developmentComplete any tasks assigned to be consistent with the positionThis job description is intended as a guide to the main responsibilities of the position and not an exhaustive list of duties and tasks.
